Contest for kids from Trnava and Zvolen: Defeat Brainfog and save the world of ideas!

Do you have a great idea that you think can change the world around you? Enter the Open Future contest, beat Brainfog, and win tickets to a water park, laser tag, or a jump arena!

The world sometimes needs good ideas. Especially in times when Brainfog appears—a monster that brings fog into people’s minds, robbing them of their ideas, courage, and desire to change things for the better. We at Open Future believe that there are still children out there who have imagination, courage, and the desire to make a difference. That’s why we’re launching a contest for children ages 10 to 13 (5th–7th grade) who have an idea for improving life around them—at school, at home, in their city, in nature, or for the people in their community.

You can enter the contest by May 20, 2026.

How does the contest work?

Round 1:

Submit your idea using the online form. If you’re from Trnava or the surrounding area, upload your idea using this link:

If you’re from Zvolen, use this link:

We’re curious to know what you’ve come up with and who your idea would help. Tell us why you think your idea, in particular, has the power to banish Brainfog from our world.

Round 2:

We’ll invite the children who advance to the second round to the Open Future center, where they’ll continue to develop their ideas with our help. All participants in the second round will also receive an invitation to the Open Future program. We’ll recognize the best ideas at the end!

If you have an idea that could help someone or make a difference for the better, we’d love for you to get involved. We’ll reward the best ideas with tickets to the water park, jump arena, or laser arena.
